We have in house X-ray at out Berkeley Location. Norcal Imaging has provided us, access to their specialized digital x-ray equipment at our facility in Berkeley. One of the main benefits of using digital x-rays over traditional x-rays is less radiation. We have found this to be extremely helpful for those who have had multiple x-rays in the past and are concerned with radiation and would like the lowest radiation option available. Read more.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic test that uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to make pictures of structures inside the body. MRI is very helpful in orthopedics as they allow the physician to see inside the body part without doing anything invasive to get the picture. MRI’s show tendons, ligaments, bones, fluid, meniscus, labrum, even early arthritis and masses.
