Jonathan Dunham, PA-C
Jonathan is a Physician Assistant with a clinical focus in orthopedic surgery. He has clinic hours Tuesday through Friday, where he provides non-operative care for injuries, fractures, and other orthopedic ailments. He assists Dr. Basil Alwattar, Dr. Jeffrey Mann, and Dr. Robert Eppley in surgery, including total joint replacements, sports injuries, shoulder, hip, knee, foot, and ankle pathologies.
He attended Sacramento State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. During his time in Sacramento he served as an athletic trainer for the NCAA Div 1 football, gymnastics, and women’s soccer teams. He was Director of Health and Human Resources for the University, and graduated with honors.
Jonathan then earned his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant studies at Samuel Merritt University, in Oakland, CA, graduating with honors. As a native of Oakland, he is excited to have the chance to give back to the people and communities of the Bay Area.
When not at work, Jonathan spends his time camping, exploring various regional parks and trails, tending to his chickens, and crafting custom furniture in his woodshop.
Jonathan is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and Licensed by the California State Physician Assistant Board.
