Melissa Chancellor, PA-C
Melissa received her Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University in Virginia after serving in the United States Navy for 4 years. As a resident of Oakland she earned a Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from Samuel Merritt University and has worked for the past eight years in the Emergency Department of the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center diagnosing and treating multiple musculoskeletal and orthopaedic patients.
For 20 years Melissa has been an athlete, runner, hiker, sailor and bicyclist and can empathize with those suffering from a sports injury or debilitating condition and is well suited to care and treat orthopaedic patients. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Mat, and two dogs, Santana and Buffy.
